A LITTLE CLARITY
Questions from parents.
The practical things behind the magic.
What is My Little Fable?
My Little Fable is building personalized illustrated storybooks inspired by photos of a child, a favourite toy or stuffy, or both. Parents will be able to choose an existing adventure or an original idea. Today, this public website offers free prepared story previews; photo-based book creation and ordering are still in development.
Link to this answerDoes my child have to be in the story?
No. A story can star just your child, just their favourite toy or stuffy, or both together. A stuffy-only adventure does not need a photo of your child.
Link to this answerHow will photos become part of the book?
The planned creation experience will use your photos as references for illustrated characters, then carry their recognizable features through the scenes. The demonstration on this site shows the intended result using a fictional child, a fictional toy and generated example images. It is not a live photo-upload tool.
Link to this answerCan we choose a comic or a fairy tale?
Yes. Picture books, comics, early readers and chapter books are part of the vision. Fairy tale is a kind of adventure that can work in different formats. The current samples demonstrate selected combinations; changing any story into any format is not available yet.
Link to this answerWhat can we try on the website today?
You can browse nine example books, add a child or stuffy name to the appropriate sample—or both names to the shared adventure, and read three illustrated pages or short chapters. These previews use prepared artwork. They do not yet generate a new book or change the character’s appearance.
Link to this answerDo we need to invent a story ourselves?
No. The full experience will offer an existing adventure from the collection or guided choices for an original idea. A favourite place, a small worry, or something they love can be the beginning.
Link to this answerWhat ages are the stories for?
The product is being designed for ages 1–11. Current samples cover ages 1–9 and include read-aloud and independent-reading formats. Age labels are suggestions, not reading assessments; choose what feels right for your child.
Link to this answerWhere are saved previews kept?
Saved previews stay in this browser on this device. They contain the sample’s name or names and story choice. They do not sync to an account, and clearing browser data removes them. You can remove individual previews from My bookshelf.
Link to this answerWill the books be digital or printed?
We’re launching with digital personalized books. Printed keepsakes are coming soon, after the digital launch. Today’s website offers free sample previews; full-book creation and ordering are not available yet. Pricing and the details of digital access will be confirmed before launch.
