PRIVACY IN THIS PREVIEW

Your family’s details deserve care.

A plain-language explanation of how the current website works.

Names in the sample reader

A name entered into a sample changes text in your browser. The preview form does not send that name to a story-generation service or create an account.

Saving a preview

When you choose “Save to My Bookshelf,” this browser stores the name (both names for a shared adventure), story choice and save time locally on this device. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see those saved previews.

Use “Remove” beside a book in My bookshelf to remove it. Clearing this site’s browser data also clears its saved previews. They are not backed up or synced across devices.

Photos and demonstration images

This website does not currently accept photo uploads. The child and toy references, illustrated characters and demonstration scenes are generated example images of a fictional child and stuffy. They are not customer photos. The book samples use prepared artwork; they do not generate a likeness from a name.

Accounts, payments and tracking

This preview has no account registration, payment processing, mailing-list signup or advertising integrations. It is hosted on Amazon Web Services using S3 and CloudFront. AWS processes normal connection information, including IP addresses and page requests, to deliver and protect the site.

Optional website analytics

Where analytics is enabled, we ask before loading Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Rejecting analytics keeps these tools off. If you allow it, Google receives visits to selected public pages and clicks on a small set of links, with fixed page names and link categories. Google may process connection information, including your IP address, and use analytics cookies to measure visits.

We do not send names, story text, form entries, saved books, URL query strings or fragments as analytics event data. Sample readers, saved books and other private or unrecognized routes are excluded. Advertising storage and advertising personalization remain disabled.

Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to allow or reject analytics at any time. Your choice is saved in this browser. Rejecting after allowing stops tracking, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not remove information already received by Google. You can also clear this site’s browser data to reset the choice.

See Google’s privacy policy for information about Google’s processing.

Before photo-based creation launches

We will publish details for the actual creation service before it accepts family photos, including the providers involved, access controls, retention and deletion options. This preview notice does not describe a photo service that is already operating.
